The Challenge

A professional trade association with over 8,000 members needed to replace its decade-old membership management system. The new system had to accommodate tiered membership levels, gated content access, CPD tracking, automated renewal billing via Stripe, and a members-only directory, all while ensuring strict data privacy standards for members’ personally identifiable information (PII).

The agency commissioned to deliver the project had strong design capabilities but lacked the necessary experience in WordPress architecture to handle this level of complexity. As a result, HackProofWP was engaged as the white-label technical lead for the project.
